Our mission is to create a space where stories of brokenness are restored into testimonies of hope, and where people are empowered to discover and walk in their God-given potential.

Our Story
Presence Church was established in 2019 by a small group of families at the YMCA. Our gatherings commenced in June 2019, where we focused on vision casting, prayer, and building community.
On September 8, 2019, we formally launched Presence Church at the YMCA with an initial congregation of 50 members. We have experienced significant growth and have seen numerous families come to faith and engage with the kingdom of heaven, reflecting the Lord’s extraordinary faithfulness.
Our Pastors
Pastor Demonte, born and raised in Goldsboro, NC, was raised in a church setting and began a genuine relationship with God at 14.
He felt an early calling to ministry and initiated a Christian ministry in high school, sparking a revival that attracted individuals from diverse backgrounds to Jesus. This experience confirmed his dedication to ministry.
Pastor Demonte has served in various capacities, including Youth Pastor, Worship Pastor, and Campus Pastor. Led by the Holy Spirit, he co-founded Presence Church in Rocky Mount, NC, in June 2019, with a passion for revival and cultural unity. He possesses a unique ability to bridge cultural and generational divides, seeking to establish God’s kingdom across all spheres.
He is married to Zakiya Daniels and has four children: Israel, Olivia, Michaela, and Judah.
Pastor Zakiya, born in Tarboro, NC, and raised in Rocky Mount, NC, experienced a profound spiritual transformation at 16, marked by extraordinary encounters with God.
She is dedicated to empowering women to shed false identities and embrace their true identity in Christ. As a gifted worship leader, mentor, and prophetic voice, Pastor Zakiya co-pastors with her husband, driving global revival and awakening. She is married to Demonte Daniels and has four children: Israel, Olivia, Michaela, and Judah.
